First Session: Do you need to come early? Nope! Just arrive on time and we'll get to work.
Parking: Parking is easy to find. There is a lot at the building that you can access from Pitt St. If it is full, there is plenty of on-street parking available. Come on in through the glass door and entry way and you’ll find Portland City Massage on the first floor. If I’m finishing up with a client, have a seat on the bench and I’ll be with you in a moment.
Draping: Depending on what we are working on during the session, you may (or may not) be asked to undress. If so, you’ll be under a sheet and blanket. Only the area of the body that is being worked on will be un-draped. Do you have to get undressed? Nope! I work on plenty of people in their clothes. In fact, I often suggest bringing athletic clothing (gym shorts, sports bra) because sometimes I have folks get off the table, do some seated work on a bench or move around a bit. But always, dress however you feel most comfortable.
Booking: Booking online may be the quickest and easiest way to set up an appointment. If you don’t see a time that fits with your schedule, give a call or shoot off an email. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible (usually within a few hours).
Costs: Find service rates here. Should you tip? Nope! I appreciate the gesture, but the best tip is to tell someone else about Portland City Massage or leave a Google review. And if you do tell your friends, make sure they mention your name. There is a referral program to earn free massage time!
Changing or Cancelling an Appointment: Please call or email to change or cancel an appointment at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule if you are unable to keep an appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hour advance notice, you will be charged a rescheduling fee equal to half of the rate of your scheduled session. This amount should be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
